Venue Spotlight: The Merion

We chose Cinnaminson, NJ for our first office, showroom, and warehouse largely because of its proximity to The Merion. This venue offers several ballrooms, each with its own character, and we have set our work in all four of their ballrooms.

The Skylight Ballroom is one of our favorites for Indian wedding ceremonies. The natural daylight under the glass dome creates a bright, open setting, especially for morning events. I prefer placing the mandap closer to the center so guest seating can be arranged in a round layout — it improves visibility and feels more immersive than traditional theater rows.

The Merion’s recent upgrades, including gold chiavari chairs, make the ballroom feel complete. This year, we’re officially the preferred South Asian vendor, and we’ve curated our mandap designs specifically for this space to simplify the selection process for brides.

Couples are also in excellent hands with The Merion’s team. Nicole and Stephanie have been there for years and know the property inside and out. Their experience and staffing levels make a noticeable difference, especially on busy wedding weekends.
