We are all familiar with the South Asian Groom's procession before the ceremony, also known as the Baraat. The wedding aisle into the ceremony space can be referred to as the bride's procession. This is ultimately the last walk and formally her officially Miss to Mrs. Over the years, the bride's entrance has had several trending props, many include a bride seated in a palanquin or palki, most recently a fabric chaadar, and for the last few years, the floral chaadar (roof) has gained popularity. If you choose to walk down with any of these props, your aisle width minimum is about 10' of open space. Keep in mind there may be flowers lining the aisle, and there has to be enough roof for those holding the prop for you, typically 4-6 family members.
